El Trapiche Coffee Plantation; this 2 hour long tour offers a variety of information about the plantation and the family that runs it. Visitors will be put on an ox cart while learning about the coffee making process, the sugarcane farm, the old fashioned way of cultivating bananas, avocados and macademia nuts. Also, guests will witness the making of the famous guaro liquor, a typical Costa Rican alcohol made from sugarcanes as well as taste "picadillo de arracache?, a traditional vegetable hash along with some coffee or fresh lemonade.The price is $30 per person with transportation.
