Started in the 1950s by Quakers originally from Alabama, who escaped the United States in order to live out their pacifist lifestyle (since Costa Rica had recently abolished its army).

This tour encompasses the interesting history of the Costa Rican Quakers as well as cheese tasting and refreshing ice cream samples.
