Cerro Chato is a quiescent volcano that surrounds the southeast side of the Arenal Volcano. Cerro Chato has been inactive for over 3500 years and rests at an elevation of 3740 feet. An experienced guide will provide you with all the information you have been waiting for. As you hike along you will encounter both flora and fauna, and try to take in the surreal extraordinary surroundings that you are hiking.
